Network Congestion?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Do different devices connect better to the network than others?

And would a certain make of device, slow other devices down in the same area?

It may sound strange, but bear with me?

Whilst at work, I have my iPhone 6, their Xperia E3, and a Panasonic G1 Tablet all on the O2 network and all 4G enabled, but I dont think I've ever seen the Tablet on 4G. I've spoken to a colleague who I share vehicle with, and he has? But his own personal phone is on a different network!

It has been suggested in the past that I may have been on the edge of an area, but if I was getting about 44mb, I would've said I would've been fairly close to it?

Are you sure the tablet has a 4G sim?

Could the tablet be the 3G only version as they made both?

I think it might be that even though your devices are next you, they maybe be connected to different masts as that can happen

Then I'm inclined to believe my explanation might be the solution

You would've thought that? But as the Tablet is connected to a docking station and then to an external powered aerial, that would've had the better reception?

Is the aerial connected up to a nearby mast or line

Will it connect to 4G at any other location?
