Both phones take a nano sim so it should fit. There is only one size nano sim, however, the only way to get a replacement is by calling customer service right now Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Both phones should take a nano sim so no new sim required?

Hi

Unfortunately not the sim from an iphone6 is slighly larger than the slot in a iphone xr and it si already as small as the current sim can go.

I had to get a replacement nano sim when I replace my 6 plus with an xs max

regards

The iPhone 6 was a a different sim and is as small as it can go , possibly only a micro and there is no further pop out option on it. You can't get through to customer service and I have been trying for 2 days via the o2 app to start a chat with no joy hence trying to get though some other way

It's a Nano sim. Take a look at this, direct from Apple

Sorry, but as I said, only customer service can provide a new sim in the current climate.

You can try Skype but all lines are equally as busy I suspect

PS All iPhones have used a nano sim since the iPhone 5 so if yours is bigger you don't have an iPhone 6.

I've said it enough times already.

Something is wrong with the information given to us or the phone, whatever, I don't know.

Yes...I just thought I would back you up by posting the info. I wasn't sure when they changed (until I read it), but my lad who had an iphone 6 was nano and he put it into his 7 when the 6 gave up the ghost.
