A real pity O2 didn't do this when I worked for the NHS...Though thinking about it, I was with Orange at the time

Being on Orange would have been a bit of a drawback I must admit

I have just taken out a new contract and was told the NHS discount code would work! I am an existing o2 refresh customer and work for the NHS. I have tried the code and the text I received back was 'The mobile number I provided for a discount is a 3rd party connection and is not eligible for o2 Open discount??!!
I took the new contract out over the phone so do not understand what the problem is!
Anyone have any ideas please?
Thank you.
