Mystery charge on account

I received a call from a mobile number last week starting 07802 and when I answered they said “sorry wrong number” and I have since been charged £0.54 for sending a picture message to this number of which there is no record in my messages.

Any idea if it’s some kind of scam and how I get it taken off my bill since I didn’t send a text? Also can I get the number blocked?

• You'll need to call customer service to see if you can get a refund.

@WorleyG 07802 is a legitimate prefix so you'll have to call customer service as suggested.
