Call customer services and be prepared to email or fax a copy of your birth certificate.

Hi

I have the same issue but when I talk to customer services, they told me thy cannot do this as I am a PAYG customer. It seems the above advice given only applies to Pay Monthly customers.

I find it strange I cannot change my own details and customer services cannot help.

Please advise.

Sounds like a load of bull to me - call again and speak to someone else, but it is really crucial that it is correct?

O2 have a responsibility to allow you to amend incorrect details.

Though I too wonder why it's necessary unless like me, you are one of those people who hate things to be wrong.

Thanks MI5. I've actually talked to 5 people and the chatbot - all gave me the same answer!

@jonsie I am like you and hate these things to be wrong - call it OCD.

I wouldn't mind but it is completely wrong. My DOB is 1/1/1900 and my name is NA!
