Hello

Im a O2 monthly user. I have 8gbs included in my package and use on average 3gbs per month.

I was just walking locally and I recived a text message "You've used 80% of your data" then 15 mins later "you've used all your data". This is very uncommon for me and hasnt happened in years. I checked (and force quit) all my apps but nothing was uploading or running in the background - nothing different to normal.

Does anyone know what this could be or how to fix?

Thank you

@src1983 You can check your usage on your MyO2 page. http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

If it doesn't tally you'll need to speak to customer service.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

O2 aren't very much interested in talking to customers these days unless they're buying something or upgrading. Alternatively, if you want to discuss your issue, below is the advice from an O2 Guru on how to get through.
Call 202 from your mobile.
When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

Hey there @src1983 , hope you're doing well this week. It's been a few days since you asked about your data usage so I just wanted to check in to see if you've made any progress with this. Did you find out what was eating your data?
