My contract extended without my consent or any agreement

I am beyond upset with O2.My 24 months contact is due to end on 12th of October 2020.Suddenly I received notification that I ordered a sim only deal.Fraud.I did not order one.I have called O2 on eight different occasions to ratify this on my account which changed due to this ,not sure what they did but I am now on my old contract but with a new end date of 2022.
No new phone,no new contract, they just changed the end date.I am worried this was when I leave 02 will generate a termination bill .
Can someone help

Is O2 even allowed to do this.This has caused me a great deal of stress..Everytime I call they will assure me this will be ratified. I have even asked to speak to a manager.
I have all the names of staff admitting it is a mistake 😕
But it is still not ratified.
What is going on?

It has happened to me aswell my contract has been extended without my consent 36month from 24months! I can not get through to 02 and now will be contact the FCA
