I've paid for my device and will be cancelled my direct debit tarrif. Prices currently ove 70 pound I'd ridiculous. Went to an 02 store and they were no help. I will be leaving 02

@PeterGostling If you've paid off your device there may still be airtime charges on your account. Do not cancel your Direct Debit until you receive a zero bill from O2.

If you are happy with O2 other than the price, have you checked for an "upgrade" :-
