My Plan

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi my iphone 6 is damaged so i cant use it, i cant afford to get it fixed so im paying for a service im not using. Is there anyway of freezing my plan and continuing to pay for the device? even if they blocked the sim although i wont be able to use it anyway without a phone. I would have had insurance but i wasn't advised by o2 that i only had 28days from the date of purchase to take this out

No, you need to pay off the phone and then cancel the airtime - it's the only way.
If you just stop paying O2 will pass you over to debt collectors I'm afraid.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Might be worth checking to see if you are covered either through a bank account (if you pay for it) or through home contents insurance.
Admittedly there would still be a fee to pay but could be less than the charge to repair...

@Anonymous You can buy an inexpensive phone and use your sim in that. It's only the phone that's damaged. Obviously it won't have all the features you had, but you would still be able to make calls and send texts, and depending on the phone you buy, possibly be able to still get online.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
