Moving to Sim only pay monthly deal

So i want to move my contract, which ends this month to a sim only Pay monthly deal, i dont need a new phone and quite happy with what i got so for £20 a month i can get a better deal than im on. But all the upgrades i am offered are better phones and to cancel i need to contact 02. Which at the momment you cant. I cant be without my phone due to my job. can someone help please
