Moving to Australia but have another year on my contract!

So I'm off to Oz in November but will still have a year left on my contract, I don't have any option but to pay the remaining off do I? How much do you have to pay to end contract?

You will need to ring O2 CS on 202 to get this info. It is account related and therefore we are unable to help

You will have to pay off the remainder of the minimum term ie. number of remaining months times monthly tariff (minus any bolt ons)

You could sell your phone to pay off the contract.

You could possibly get a family member to take mover the contract for you but you would ultimately be responsible for any default on the account.

One final tip is to request your phone to be Unlocked to all networks ,which is free to Contract Customers.

So you can ;

Use it on another network.

Increase it's street value if you decide to sell it on.
