It should be possible but the best people to speak to are customer services, and the quickest route is on Social Media

O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

When you have the new phone and a temporary number, give o2 a call on 202 and they can migrate your number over.

Bare in mind if anything is outstanding on the current contract you will need to pay that off at the same time.

@JJames

Yes you can still do it but your mum would need to be on a call with you to customer services to give permission to migrate the number across to your new account.

This can only be done by you both calling O2 Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Early morning is the best time to call, they open from 8.00am.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
