Hi

I am looking to have a number under my name which is no longer under contract over to another person's contract.

I had the number under my name which my sister used. She now has her own contract and wants to keep the number. Both are o2.

Contacted customer service several times and got no where. I have seen the thread which advises to contact o2 but no one ever can understand or on hold for ages

Can anyone help on here please?

@25wat

The guide here explains number migration Guide: Migration & porting into O2

However, there have been issues especially if one contract is on the old billing platform and the other on the new one, as the 2 systems don't talk to each other.

A workaround is to PAC out to another network PAYG sim and then PAC back into O2 on the correct contract.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@25wat

The only people who can do the migration are customer services and unfortunately you will have to persevere with them.

There is no o2 support on this customer to customer forum.
