Mortgage declined - false information

I have just had my first ever mortgage application declined, due to O2 putting on my account 4 late payments. All my payments have been made on time. I am extremely annoyed at the situation and I have raised a complaint/ claim.
Is there any quicker way to resolve this? My offer will fall through if this is not sorted in the next 24 hours.

Résolution of such matters takes ages in normal times @Jamie8.

Can you maybe use a free credit check service to see what exactly is showing on your credit history? Credit Karma used to allow this: https://www.creditkarma.co.uk/signup

If nothing else, you will be able to see what it is you are trying to get O2 to correct or amend.
