Hi

I have a 3 year contact with 02. But i find the signal isnt great and im paying alot a month for the phone and i still have just under two years left of the contract.

I am looking to move to a new provider and wondering what the best option would be.

If i pay off the remainder of the phone do i still have to pay the monthly contract fee?

You just need to pay the device plan and you are then free to leave

It's all the same once the device is paid off.

You can just walk away with your phone and get a sim only from another network to put in it.

Once you port your number, your old O2 contract will end with no further cost to you.
