Hi, I’ve just upgraded my mobile broadband package to a new phone. I’m now worried that it won’t work like that. I’m guessing that because it gave me that option, I could change it for a phone instead (I want to convert to Android but need a bit of time! Also, I am about to launch a business so want a business number that is separate from my personal one). Will this be an issue? Thanks.

Hi @L104GB

If I am understanding you correctly, yes, it's perfectly OK to upgrade from MBB to a phone contract and as far as getting an (additional?) business account, that should be OK as long as you pass the credit checks OK.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
