I recently was in India and made some calls home, however i was astonisheded when I got to find a bill for £230 wne my bill was usually £15 to £20.There are alledged calls listed which I have no knowledge of such as :
[Removed] There is also a one of charge for £40 for data used when abroad which I know nothing about.
I went on the Chat line and was promised an investigation and answers, so far nothing heard.
Can you please deduct the total amount of these calls from my bill which is due for payment on March 1st 2017 and also let me have an explanation.
As I was in the ICU of New Delhi hospital all mobile phones were taken away after dinner and not returned until the next day. I do not know where they were kept.
Thank you
Bob McKinnon

Please remove all personal info this is not customer services but customers helping customers.
Search for the numbers adding a 0 in front .
The £40 data is only a few mb used at £6 a mb and is the monthly cap .

I hope the phone was switched off before you handed it over and protected with a pass coode.
But a search of the numbers reveals last two are insurance compaies / travel assistance perhaps you needed them whilst in hospital

When you say phones where taken away, was your phone pin locked or password protected, with something other than any personal identifiable information? When taken off you.
The reason I ask is that it is your responsibility to keep the device and sim secure and prevent unauthorised usage..
Also to add phone calls and data aren't free when abroad and don't come out of your allowances, so you have used under 7mb of data, it's also £1.50 per minute to call the UK and £1.25 to receive so wouldn't take long to run up a call bill of £175
