So I have purchased a phone online and didnt recieve a confirmation with the collection code and have been to the store and told to wait. I still have not recieved the email, does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Check your junk or spam folders in case the email went there but you may not have passed the credit check so worth checking with CS if your order went through OK.
