Migrating phone number

I got a new SIM as I moved from PAYG to Pay Monthly. I had to put in the new SIM as I went on holiday and I was not instructed to do anything to transfer the number.

 

I have called customer support countless times with no avail, used the form to migrate the number 3 times to no avail.

 

I need the old number for work purposes and I have missed many work calls and meetings due to this problem. I’m on a 24 month contract so I am tied down and can’t switch providers.

 

Can anyone help?
