A huge part of the O2 network seems to be down - who else if affected?
After about 3 hours of being in denial on twitter they now are 'currently looking into the number of similar tweets' rather than telling people to turn their phone on and off again.
Bit of a poor show there - there was clearly a major issue and it took that long even slightly admit it.

It's not outrageous at all, stuff goes wrong and while they might offer a goodwill payment they don't have to.

I turned it on and off dozens of times..even put sim into another phone..still nothing..

Just came here to find out why I lost signal on my phone ...
