Hi.
I am recieving a lot of nuisance texts and calls from an ex, who frankly I want nothing to do with anymore. I have a MOTO X Play running Android 6.0.1. On my old phone also with O2, an HTC Desire 510 blocking numbers was a fairly simple task an appeared easy to find. However with the X Play I can't find it.
Any help regarding blocking numbers would be appreciated, cheers. I've managed to block it on individiual apps (WhatsApp) but can't find the overall one for SMS/calls
- Cheers

I've re-added the number to contacts so I can set it to send it to answer phone. Can I now delete the contact and it'll retain the setting, or do I now need to keep this contact forever so it'll retain the block? If that's the case then its hardly a good defualt solution?
So now the phone stuff is sorted out, how to stop the SMS side?

The app I suggested will block calls and texts. I don't believe you can delete the contact. If it's being blocked you won't know when they call or text. You can just ignore it. The caller/texter will most likely eventually tire of it all. If the calls and texts are malicious you can report it to the police.
