Hi
I am on Pay & Go with O2 Travel, and will be in Europe soon, wanting to send MMS (picture messages) to Australia, but not needing data use when there.
The web site says the MMS will cost 25p each, but will I also be charged £1.99 per day for data to send an MMS or do MMS's not incur additional data charges?
Thanks
Regards
Glen

I have just activated it. Will give it a try when next in Spain. Amazing how many of my contacts already have it

Yes I was likewise surprised too, and at first was worried about what details of my contacts had been sent to others, but I understand it is only the phone number that is used to link people together.

It doesn't send anyone's contact details anywhere. It just checks your contact list for numbers already registered to whatsapp.
Yeah I realised that...I saw it as a help. I just didn't realise how many of my contacts used Whatsapp...so it told me. Good for whatsapp...:smileywink:

Whatsapp is THE future of free communications over wifi. All my family and half of my contacts use it. Paying for pictures messages is archaic these days!
