Lowing Tariff

Hi,

Just a quick enquiry with regards to whether it's possible to reduce my tarrifc charge per month. I'm currently on a £27 (£14.55 + £12.50 Insurance) tarrfic, which includes 1GB Data, unlimited minutes, & unlimited text messages for the iPhone 5S. The contract for the phone began in Jan' 2014.

Phil

You cannot lower your tariff now with O2 till the minimum term has finished unless you pay off the handset.

The only way to reduce your monthly payments is to pay off the device plan costs if you are on refresh.
Otherwise you need to pay off the entire tariff and start again with a lower monthly cost.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I don't think its possible as O2 removed the ability to downgrade but you could speak to cs on 202

When you say 'pay off the entire tariff', are you referring to just the payment for the device? I'm currently paying around £55 a month collectively, the device and data etc., and I assume once the device is paid off, I'll simply be paying £27 a month then, for just the data, minutes etc?

And just to be clear, once the device is paid off, it's at this stage, where I have a choice of either continuing with the £27 deal or selecitng a new possibly cheaper deal?
