Lost phone

I lost my phone and am on contract so bought a new phone and asked for another sim to be sent to me with same number. Unfortunately none of my pics are on there. Is there a way to retrieve them?

If they weren't backed up to Google or Apple iCloud they are gone.

Best thing to do is login to either Google and go to Photos or Apple iCloud and see if they are in their, you can do this either on the Phone or Websites
