Lost phone!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Today I lost my phone at the park, after being put on hold for what seemed liked forever getting more annoyed I hung up and decided to drive into town to the 02 shop! Here I found the customer service disgusting and rude. I was told to Sit down and given the shop phone to ring up the same situation I was in before I left the house! I started to explain on the phone my situation to the lady, before finishing she told me that I would have to pay the cancellation charge for cancelling my contract! To which I replied are you not going to block my number first? And secondly I wanted to swap my number to another sim blocking my phone! Seems to me that 02 are just after money and don't care about there customers! I understand that the shop was about to shut but I was in desperate need to block my lost phone. Doesn't mean all customer service skills should go out the window!

It's a simple operation to block your sim and bar your phone. No need to cancel your contract at all.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
