You need to report it to o2 and they will send a replacement to you

@MI5 From the subject line, it appears that the OP has only lost her sim. Can she not call into an O2 store if she has one nearby, making sure she has identification with her, and get the sim replaced there?

Yes but if it has been found and in use it will be racking up charges.
