Lost my sim card

Ive lost my sim card when taking it out of my phone, i need to get a new one and de-activate the one i have lost! How can I do this?

They will put a bar on your account..to ensure you don't get charged for unwarranted use...though not sure if you lost it in your home or outside...?

Stay on the phone through all the options until you get to the lost/stolen right at the end. Once they block the account you will have to call them again after you receive the new sim to get the block removed.

As soon as you do a sim swap the old sim will be disconnected, so if you can get to an o2 shop they will give you a new active sim immediately which will save the hassle of barring and unbarring your account etc.
