My wife has recently lost her mobile phone. Does anyone know if it is possible to request from O2 the phones last known location? Even if it was just the cell tower it was connected to? I realise there are plenty of apps out there but by the time the we realised the phone was missing it had switched off.

Unfortunately, Google Timeline wasn't saving any activity either 😔

It may be possible that customer service can help with the last known location but it's really an outside chance an adviser has access to that information. Give them a call in the morning

The loss needs to be reported immediately to limit your liability @We5t

@We5t  Knowing the phone's last location probably wouldn't be of much help, as there's a 99.9% chance that it isn't there any more. It does need to be reported though, so your wife can be sent a new sim. Even though the phone is gone the account is still active.
