Lost Phone Abroad

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I lost my iPhone 4S in Spain on Monday. The phone lines are currently closed, is there any way I can cancel my lost sim and get a new one sent to me now? I put the phone into lost mode but I'd like to get this done ASAP.

Thanks

Surely lost phone department are open 24/7 given that it is a requirement to notify the network immediately?

Hi @Anonymous

Can I ask if you reported the phone lost to the police in Spain? Just wondered if you have a crime reference number from them...?

Just rang and the option is there for lost and stolen right at the end of the IVR. Option 3

@Anonymous

As per both my and jonsie's posts above, the phone lines for lost and stolen are open 24 hours a day.

Please call immediately as you will be liable for any charges until you notify o2.

Thanks for your help, I notified the tour operators and heard nothing back and the phone hasn't connected to the internet since it has been lost. I'll call straight away though.

Stay on the line until the lady speaking has finished telling you the opening hours and then choose option 3. Good luck, losing your phone is a real bummer slight_frown
