Living abroad

i currently live in NZ but have a pay as u go mobile with O2. Why is the number/ phone no longer being recognised?

Possibly if you haven't used it to make a chargable call in the last 6 months it will have been disconnected. Contact customer service to be reconnected and get your credit back. As you are in NZ then live chat may be your best option.
