Leaving O2

After asking an online person I was told I could give notice to close my account and transfer my number to someone else on the 5th October. I normally make my monthly payment on or about the 8th so will my last payment be taken on the October pay date or later assuming no call charges over use etc involved Also can you give some idea as to what happens when I request code to move and how long things take

Thanks

When you use the PAC it will cancel your account immediately and the final bill will be produced. Payment will be required 14 days later. Anything that you have been overcharged for will be refunded a further 14 days after that so leave the DD in place for at least a month after to avoid any nasty surprises.

So if I use my PAC code almost immediately after giving notice I will get money back for what I have paid in advance. But not for almost a month. Sorry to be a nucience  but the sooner I can cut all ties with o2 the better

Yes you will be billed prorata for the remaining minimum term and any overpayment will be refunded on the subsequent final bill.
