How do I cancel my contract owing to changes from August?

I would just point out that every network will be making the same changes.

So do your homework before you make a choice.

I want to leave O2 and email says with new charges coming into force I can leave without termination charges so have requested a PAC code but when this was texted back it said termination charges were £181

This only applies to none refresh plans.

If you have a device plan, then you have to pay off the device plan in full at time of cancellation. As thats a Consumer Credit Agreement.

As stated here...

Some of the changes to our out-of-bundle charges and Roaming Limits on Tariffs over 25GB, may mean you have the right to exit your agreement without having to pay an Early Termination Charge. If you choose to exit your agreement and have a related Device Plan you will also have to repay it in full.

Im in the same boat,i received the email, im not on a refresh plan but im being quoted £143 to leave ! Cant get anyone on live chat.

I'm on a non refresh plan too and can't get on live chat but then someone from O2 rang to persuade me to stay and I queried it with them apparently you have to ring support when you use the PAC code and they will put a credit on your account to take care of it

If you looking for clarification, DO NOT rely on live chat. Their info on new account policies isn't the best

Might wanna reconsider this mass exodus if what I've heard happens..
O2 will be the ONLY operator to include data abroad.
