I have just entered a sim only contract with O2. I am moving from EE. When getting the new O2 sum only deal I filled in a form and gave my PAC code so I could keep my old number.
I have received my new sim and put it into my phone. I appear to have a completely new number. What do I do?

You will be given a new number prior to the transfer.
Your old SIM should go dead before the number transfers. Up to that point I suggest you leave it in your phone and then put the new one in when that happens
Any doubt

Thank you very much 😊. I have just been in touch with somebody at o2 and apparently the request to keep my
old number wasn’t reviewed 🤷♀️. Not sure how that can be but hey ho. Hopefully things will move along now
