Hi. I have been given my daughters iphone 4 which she used on a contract on O2.

i wish to put a new O2 pay and go micro sim into it bur keep my old mobile number which was on a pay and go T Mobile

So can I use the new o2 pay and go sim and keep my old mobile number?

You'll have to ask t mobile for a PAC code which you can then use to transfer your number to O2:)

Yes but you will need to contact T mob for a PAC code.
