Ports are taking longer than normal at this time. Giving your PAC to O2 should cancel your contract from your previous provider, but you are still responsible for any time remaining on your old contract. Have you received a new sim card from O2? Once your old sim loses service the port process will begin. You then need to keep rebooting your phone with your O2 sim every half hour or so.
