I would like to keep my old o2 number on my new signed contract

I have a brand new contract with a new number but I would like to keep my old o2 number from a previous contract, anyone help thanks

If you call 4445 or any of the free numbers in the link.

Use Skype if necessary, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Choose the fraud or upgrade option if necessary

8am is the best time to call them

Customer service need to migrate your number to the new contract

If your old sim fits the new phone then just use that.

The sim has nothing to do with any change of tariff as this is done on O2's system.

All the contract is on the new number plus the old contract number runs out Wednesday that is why I wanted to swap it abs keep the old number

Even if your contract runs out Wednesday, it doesn't mean you lose the number. If you did nothing, the contract would continue to roll on a monthly basis.

This is why I said, if the old sim fits the new phone you could use that.

However, if your new phone is 5G and you are in a 5G area, the new sim would also be 5G, so to keep the number you would just need to do a sim swap from your old sim.

The way I understood it was that there were two contracts running side by side?
That's why I suggested that O2Lisa could assist in the migration thus ending the first contract
