Keeping my old number

Hi I have just received my new o2 sim yesterday. When I filled on line information I provided my PAC code. How long do I have to wait for my old number to swap over to the temporary number?

@Manny1204 You'll know the process has started when your old sim loses service. Keep rebooting your phone with the new sim every 30 minutes or so. Ports are not running as fast as normal at the moment. No way of telling how long it will take.
