Hi I have just took a pay monthly sim out with o2 but I would like to keep my old number that is on gift gaff I have a pac code but I don’t know how to do it could someone please help me

Can anyone help I've changed from bt to o2 I've transfered my old number which is now showing on my account yet when you call it I don't receive anything. It rings but then rings off after a couple of seconds
