Hi I've had a contract sim for years and have seen an offer on a site for a iPhone 6s with full contract - I'd like to get this offer - I'm not sure if this classes as an upgrade ? 

The price difference is significantly different for the deal as an upgrade to a new contract - my question is obviously I want the cheaper deal - how do I keep my mobile number ? 

Im with 02 now

So should be able to upgrade the existing account. Call 202 and try getting through retentions to see if they can beat the online deal.

The external site will upgrade you too but if it's cheaper to take a new contract with them you will need to call CS to transfer your current number to the new account.
It means you will be paying for both contracts for the first month.
