Keeping my mobile number

Hello!

I currently have a PAYG sim which I figured out isn’t compatible with the Apple Watch (cellular). So, I decided it was time to get a Pay Monthly sim deal instead.
The sim has arrived today, and I followed the instructions and filled out the form to keep my number. However, it’s been a couple of hours and I’m still waiting for my PAYG sim to lose signal, which would enable me to put in the Pay Monthly one.

I was just wondering how long this typically takes- specifically, the loss of signal to allow me to swap the PAYG sim out for the new one?

Apologies if this is fairly straightforward or I’ve misunderstood what’s been shared online previously.

😊

Looks like you should contact customer service as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

Hi Breanna!

@Breanna

Sadly, not. I followed the online instructions; filled out the form, and even spoke with a call agent about it. He “processed” it and yet I still haven’t had signal loss to allow me to insert the new Pay Monthly SIM card into my phone.
