Keep getting calls "regarding my contract renewal"

Anonymous
Not applicable

I've had three calls so far from three seperate companies (in the span of about a week) asking me about my upcoming contract renewal. They all come under different alias; "mobiles for you" "mobile experts" and one even acted as if they were O2.

What I want to know is why do all of them seem to know a lot about my contract? I get that some may guess its length, but how do they know when it expires?

Also how can I stop them pestering me? I have politely said that I have already renewed my contract, and all of them have said they'll take me off their calling list as a result, but who knows how many others are waiting to call me.

Thanks in advance.

I've had the same call from "mobile experts" Sating they're part of the carphone warehouse and were asked to contact me by O2.  The first couple of times they called they hung up when I answered.  Bunch of scamming so and sos trying to steal contracts I think.
