Hello,

When I went to Jamaica last year there was a charge of £6 per day to use my mobile if I couldn't get access to WiFi.  This year I am going to Kenya and I can't find this country listed in the £6 per day plan.  Has anyone been to Kenya recently who can tell me what the charges are?  Also am I correct in thinking that if I keep my mobile in airplane mode all the time I can still use the hotel WiFi and not incur any charges?  In Jamaica I switched data roaming off but still incurred several days' worth of charges even though I didn't use my mobile at the time.  Thank you in advance.

It's only the (horrendous) standard rates for Kenya, sorry.
