Joined today via Virginmedia volt.
Having received my sim, I thought I would port my number from virginmobile at 11 AM by telephone.
After a few dropped calls to RSA (does this happen often?) I believed that all was well, despite an error on my part which was immediately corrected.
After lunch an email arrived informing me that the Post Pay port could not proceed because:
"The Mobile Number is not registered to the PAC provided.So I made an online application to port the number, which was accepted.Late afternoon I received two consecutive text messages from O2: one to the temporary O2 number:"Sorry, we are unable to process your port in request please call us on 0344 8090202"One to the number I was attempting to port, welcoming me to O2 and advising me that the transfer would take place on 26/9/22 as requested.At 2105 today I received the same two messages, minutes apart.I now do not know if my number will be ported and more importantly is O2 the right service for me?
