I just received a new sim and it doesn't work. I tried the chat which just said to put it in the phone and it will work.
Then I found a link saying to text SWAP to 20220 but the message doesn't get delivered (presumably because the sim card isn't working)
Then I found a link to "swapmysim" which said it had texted a sec=urity code to my number. Nothing arrived (presumably because the sim card isn't working)
So can anyone please help? Thanks

The instructions that come with the sim card say to text after putting the new sim card in.
However I got it working now after ringing o2.

I got the new card because I wanted 5G
The card arrived, I have read the instructions and following them, ie put in the new sim, then go to https://www.o2.co.uk//swapmysim
No text arrives
Alternatively to text them after putting in the new sim I cannot ring them as the phone doesn't work with the new sim in it

As I said, the text has to be sent from your old sim
The instructions given by O2 are incorrect @PeteThomas
