Joined o2 today on a £11 monthly contract.They have told me because they did not put in place the discount the first bill would be £19.Going to cancel not for the extra £8   but because they would NOT Refund the extra charge.Regards Barry

@barry2 this isn't o2. You need to call 202 and cancel under the 14 day cooling off period.

It should be immediate if it's an already discounted tariff.

Sorry you are not happy, ring Customer Services today ~ ring early 08.30am 

try and enquire why they will not refund and if you are decided not to stay

organise that with them quickly.  Best of Luck
