You have two choices then. You could call Samsung to see what they suggest https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/

Or call O2 for repair. https://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-sims-and-devices/our-faults-and-repairs-policy

Hi @Abbie5

Try these numbers

Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen if you have to.

@Abbie5

It sounds like an issue with the layer under the screen, called the digitiser.

I would contact Samsung direct rather than o2 at the links provided by @Cleoriff suggested.
They are available via chat 24hours a day and are going to better at sorting this for you.
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

@Abbie5

You should back up your phone with Samsung Smartswitch first and then do a factory reset to see if it helps.

If you do contact Samsung, it will be the first thing they tell you to do anyway.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
