Is waiting literally hours for service normal with o2?

This is an o2 quote form 13.05, its now 13.36 -

I’m going to transfer you to our re-contract team, they’ll be able to help you with this. It won’t take long.

I have spent literally hours this week trying to contact o2. If I haven't a resolution by tonight I will stop wasting my time and move!

All CallCentres generally are busy.

People are at work through the week tend to hit the lines on a weekend.

I once did a stint in my companies CallCentre and was amazed at how busy it was. Their was a LCD readout constantly quoting different customer figures and also highlighted which operatives where showing as not available to take calls etc.

The pressure on the CallCentre staff was high and typically had a staff turnover of 6 months. That's how long mist of them lasted !

Its frustrating at both ends of the spectrum.

Hope you get sorted.
