0800 952 4852 Hi guys, so I've had loads of missed calls from this number and after a Google search it's not clear if it's a scam or if it's actually o2? So I've answered it this morning, and basically told them to, ahem, bog orf!! Could anyone shed light on this number please?

Cheers,

Charlie xx

I have seen it before and yes it has been said it's linked to O2 in the past. However this link shows it's Virgin Media?

Either way it is a cold caller hoping to sell you something....and should eb ignored at all costs.

Which might indicate that "a trusted partner" is working for several providers wink

Oh I agree....Vodaphone was mentioned in another search....

Some info here. Claims to be O2 but don't deal with them. It could be a trusted partner but I never give any info to these people.

Hi @jonsie yeah I've looked on that site, and came to the same conclusion. I was interested to see if any others had been called or knew anything more than that. Thanks for the link though grin

Aha thanks for all that info. I didn't wait to see what they were trying to sell lol. No I'm not a member of any of those unions. Well the "trusted partner" line leaves a bitter taste eh? Mind u no different to most big companies these days.

Absolutely right @gindygoo I always think if someone needs to ring to push you into a contract or phone that you neither want or need they are up to no good and are interested only in your money.

I have a lot of numbers added to my blocked callers list Smiley Very Happy
