Hi all,
Got some replies on gumtree and one was from a EU mobile number and it became clear that the person was a timewaster.
Got a message from "O2" this morning that I have sent a text to an international number for the first time and to login and check my tariff.
First, it is not the first time I have texted and Int number and O2 would know that as I have had this number/account for years.
Second, the link website looks wrong, it starts:
The "s" secure symbol is on the wrong side of the ://
I was wondering if the timewaster deliberately answered my add with that number and then faked the O2 text to get me to click that link.
I never click any link in a text message.
I may just forward it to O2 phishing and see what they say.
Thanks in advance

Hello!
Notice of scams or possible scams always welcome @JohnRoxton
I get phishing emails quite regularly and always forward/report them to the appropriate places.
Well done to be cautious.
