Hi all, Just recently got my new contract at £38 a month and my first bill has came in at £41.67. I read that business contracts do not include VAT so I was just wanting to check that I am definetly on a consumer contract?

Look at your tariff in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 but your first bill is always slightly higher anyway https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/first-bill

Right I think I got it, I got the phone on the 29th Jul so have been charged a small amount for the 3 days until 1st August at £3.06, then for the rest of August at £31.67 + VAT = £41.67
Whereas say for August if I pay £31.67 (standard monthly rate) + VAT = £38
I think I get it now
